Requirements
- Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, advanced analytics, data science, machine learning, or AI.
- In-depth expert-level experience in the Data Science domain (data mining, statistics, machine learning).
- Deep expertise in AI, including analytical and generative AI.
- Knowledge of the LLM landscape, including commercial and open-source models.
- Experience with model selection, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation metrics.
- Understanding of bias management, IP considerations, and data asset profiling.
- Proficiency in MLOps and related tooling.
- Knowledge of cloud hosting options, self-hosting, and related economics.
- Experience with multi-modal AI including NLP, voice, image, and video.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and drive AI assessment efforts for investment companies.
- Perform technical due diligence to identify technology strengths, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement AI solutions from scratch.
- Guide and mentor junior software developers and engineers.
- Collaborate with internal and client technical leads to optimize existing AI technologies, processes, and tools.
- Create detailed reports for investors outlining technical investment risks.
- Drive projects to successful completion, including project management and hands-on execution.
