Experience: 7+ years in Software Engineering, with 3+ years in SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar

7+ years in Software Engineering, with 3+ years in SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar.
Experience with Government or Sovereign Cloud environments (e.g., Azure Government, AWS GovCloud).
Experience in regulated compliance environments (FedRAMP, CMMC, IL2/IL4/IL5, PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA, HITRUST).
Strong proficiency in building and running production services on cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.
Ability to investigate systems independently using code, documentation, and architecture artifacts.
Strong experience in programming languages such as TypeScript/JS, Go, Java, or C#.
Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or ELK stack.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, FluxCD).
Solid grasp of distributed systems, networking, and cloud-native architecture.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Develop and maintain documentation, architecture artifacts, and runbooks for the full VDC platform.
Design and implement high-availability infrastructure on Azure Government.
Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
Lead incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
Identify reliability risks and execute remediation plans within compliance constraints.
Establish observability standards, including alerting and telemetry.
Automate infrastructure and delivery pipelines, including IaC and CI/CD for restricted environments.
