Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial Software Engineering roles.
- Good experience working with front-end code, ideally using Angular.
- Extensive experience in developing cloud software using AWS services (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, Opensearch).
- Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong skills in TypeScript and Java v21 with Maven and Spring Boot v3.
- Understanding of relational database design, SQL query optimisation, and non-relational databases like DynamoDB.
- Experience using Git for source control.
- Understanding of SOLID principles and a desire to refactor and improve code.
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
- Ability to maintain CI/CD pipelines and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Experience in monitoring applications using tools like Cloudwatch or Datadog.
- Familiarity with agile processes like Scrum or Kanban.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and well-tested software for the marketing platform.
- Collaborate with UX and product managers to translate user needs into technical solutions.
- Write clean, secure code while adhering to best-practice guidelines.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues and participate in knowledge-sharing.
- Manage the full service lifecycle from understanding requirements to deployment, support, and maintenance.
- Identify potential risks and provide pragmatic solutions to meet business deadlines.
