Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing, building, and operating high-scale, mission-critical cloud-based production systems.
- 7+ years of experience with at least two programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, Ruby, or Go.
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams in an agile development environment.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservice architectures, and cloud-native design patterns.
- Experience with distributed caching systems such as Redis or Memcached.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles including DDD, SOLID, and scalable architecture practices.
- Ability to identify potential system failures, performance issues, and architectural risks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning.
- Experience with full-stack engineering practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies and cloud infrastructure is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code for distributed systems and microservices.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of cloud-based platforms designed for high-volume transaction processing.
- Build reliable systems using asynchronous communication patterns and modern cloud-native approaches.
- Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to ensure platform performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and operational teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design decisions, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to support team growth.
- Lead and support engineering teams within an agile environment, helping drive technical direction and execution.
- Participate in on-call rotations, responding to production incidents and ensuring system availability.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the evolution of engineering processes and technologies.
