Requirements
- Proven experience with end-to-end payroll processing, either in-house or within a payroll service provider.
- Deep knowledge of payroll best practices.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Excel and Google Suite.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.
- Passion for process improvement and productivity.
- Experience or willingness to work largely asynchronously.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Act as a true subject matter expert for the country.
- Manage existing relationships with key stakeholders within Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
- Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.
- Ensure full data integrity and quality.
- Manage payroll journals and reconciliations.
- Focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Implement and improve payroll processes.
- Mentor and support payroll specialists.
- Back up regional managers during times of absence.
