Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 6–8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or business planning.
- Proven experience working in a public company environment with strong understanding of financial controls.
- Must have biotech, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in FP&A fundamentals including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills for complex financial modeling.
- Strong PowerPoint and executive communication skills.
- Stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence decisions via data.
- Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- MBA or CPA credentials are preferred.
- Experience with Adaptive Planning preferred.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning cycles.
- Partner with functional leaders to manage departmental budgets and analyze financial drivers.
- Enhance financial planning systems, data integrity, and dashboard reporting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and variance analysis.
- Support commercial finance activities, including product launch readiness and cost analysis.
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and executive-ready presentations.
- Establish scalable FP&A processes aligned with public-company and SOX compliance.
