Requirements
- 2 years of experience in insurance authorizations, insurance verification, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or high-volume data processing roles
- Experience requesting and tracking insurance preauthorizations across multiple payer portals
- Strong working knowledge of documentation requirements for payer submissions
- Proven ability to manage production-based performance expectations and daily output targets
- Highly accurate data entry skills
- Experience working within structured order management or case management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet and a distraction-free workspace
- Enthusiasm for working in an AI-forward environment
Responsibilities
- Request and track preauthorizations for insurance-eligible orders in alignment with payer requirements
- Upload authorization details and documentation into the order processing platform
- Update order statuses based on authorization outcomes
- Validate insurance status via API checks prior to order progression
- Process inbound faxes and attach documentation to patient records
- Conduct outreach to customers regarding insurance expiration
- Meet or exceed daily production targets and documentation accuracy standards
- Escalate payer discrepancies or missing documentation to team leads
- Collaborate with internal teams and support additional operational workflows
