Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience as a Senior Forensic Consultant or Incident Responder.
  • Proficiency with digital forensic artifacts and tools such as ELK, Axiom, Encase, or FTK.
  • Professional experience with network analysis and intrusion detection tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting forensic analysis and investigations.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide on-call and weekend rotational support.
  • Eagerness to mentor and expand technical knowledge base.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to client-facing incident response engagements throughout the lifecycle from detection to recovery.
  • Conduct advanced forensic analysis to identify the scope and impact of security incidents.
  • Lead forensic investigations for small to medium engagements such as Business Email Compromise and Ransomware.
  • Mentor less experienced team members and share technical expertise.
  • Articulate attack vectors and threat tactics to guide client mitigation efforts.
  • Convey complex forensic findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Produce written reports detailing incident findings and forensic analysis.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend rotational support for critical incidents.
