Requirements
- 7–9 years of relevant experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, philanthropy, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record raising funds from charitable foundations, individual donors, or philanthropic organizations.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.
- Experience managing donor relationships, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing proposals and reports.
- Advanced research skills for identifying and evaluating funding opportunities.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Airtable, CRM systems, or donor management platforms.
- Professional, collaborative, and relationship-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of comprehensive fundraising strategies focused on individual and foundation donors.
- Manage and coordinate fundraising activities across internal teams and external partners.
- Build, cultivate, and steward relationships with small- to mid-level donors while supporting engagement with larger prospective funders.
- Conduct prospect research, maintain donor pipelines, and identify high-potential funding opportunities.
- Prepare donor briefings, prospect profiles, and meeting materials to support leadership engagement.
- Draft, edit, and submit grant proposals, reports, and fundraising materials.
- Oversee development operations, including donor databases, fundraising calendars, and contribution tracking.
- Collaborate with leadership to strengthen long-term development systems, policies, and strategic fundraising initiatives.
