Requirements
- College diploma or degree.
- 7-9 years of relevant clinical data management experience.
- Proven leadership experience in managing staff and project performance.
- Strong understanding of clinical regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Proficiency in clinical data management systems and processes.
- Effective budget management skills.
- Ability to mentor and train team members.
- CCDM certification (preferred asset).
Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end delivery of clinical data management services in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage operational targets, including staff hiring, performance, utilization, and project financial budgets.
- Lead department process improvements, documentation, and implementation of new procedures.
- Mentor and develop direct reports, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Oversee data management deliverables to ensure quality, timeline, and cost expectations are met.
- Serve as subject matter expert on data collection strategies and clinical database design.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of clinical data vendors (e.g., EDC, IRT, ePRO).
