Requirements
- 4+ years of experience architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-based AI/ML solutions, including production workloads.
- Proven track record designing and operating large, distributed systems on AWS.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS services relevant to AI/ML and GenAI, including Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker.
- Hands-on experience fine-tuning and deploying LLMs and multimodal AI.
- Strong prompt engineering skills and experience with model evaluation, quality, and safety.
- In-depth knowledge of MLOps components such as pipelines, model monitoring, data wrangling, and bias detection.
- Proficiency integrating ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch with AWS SageMaker.
- Strong data-engineering skills including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Lake Formation, and Redshift.
- Expertise in AI governance, security, and compliance patterns on AWS.
- Understanding of containerized deployments on Amazon EKS or AWS Fargate.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote-first, global environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of production-grade ML and Generative AI solutions on AWS.
- Act as a hands-on expert and trusted advisor for customers running AI/ML workloads at scale.
- Translate complex business problems into secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures.
- Convert one-off customer solutions into reusable patterns ('Gravel Roads') such as playbooks and Terraform modules.
- Deliver structured engagements including Cloud Optimization Sessions, performance workshops, and architecture deep dives.
- Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams on friction points and automation opportunities.
- Operate as an embedded technical partner within account teams to drive product adoption and customer health.
