Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in technical product management, platform engineering, or cloud engineering.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, platform services, and automation technologies.
- Demonstrated experience delivering platform products, automation frameworks, APIs, or developer-focused capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, or CI/CD.
- Experience defining API strategies and integration frameworks.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience leveraging telemetry and product metrics to drive prioritization.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer value propositions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with VMware ecosystems including VCF, vSphere, and NSX preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the platform automation and consumption experience roadmap across Rackspace cloud offerings.
- Define product vision and strategy for automation, self-service, APIs, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Drive customer-centric experiences through portals, service catalogs, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop multi-year product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and technology strategy.
- Partner with engineering teams to define requirements, architecture tradeoffs, and delivery plans.
- Engage directly with customers to validate solutions and gather feedback.
- Establish success metrics and KPIs to measure platform adoption and customer satisfaction.
