- Experience
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience
Requirements
- Master’s degree in the clinical behavioral health field (e.g., social work, counseling).
- Active, good-standing license within Utah or ability to gain reciprocity within 90 days.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience including internships and employment.
- Experience with patients having co-occurring mental health, substance use, and physical health problems.
- Competence in brief, structured intervention techniques (e.g., Behavioral Activation, Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Treatment).
- Experience with evidence-based psychosocial treatments (e.g., CBT, ACT, Interpersonal Therapy).
Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic coverage when the primary Behavioral Health Manager is unavailable.
- Support the treatment team to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Assist in rescheduling patient appointments to minimize disruptions.
- Exercise sound clinical judgment to address crises.
- Coordinate appropriate interventions and support discharge planning for patients transitioning from behavioral health hospitalization.
