Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Support Engineering or a similar technical customer-facing role.
  • 3+ years of experience working with databases such as ArangoDB, Neo4j, or comparable database technologies.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts including data modeling, query optimization, indexing, clustering, replication, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with AI concepts such as large language models (LLMs), embeddings, vector search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms including AKS, EKS, OpenShift, and Helm.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as on-premise infrastructure.
  • Experience with Linux environments, Docker, networking, SSH, jump boxes, and cluster administration workflows.
  • Familiarity with storage technologies such as EBS, gp3, MinIO, and S3-compatible storage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot networking challenges including load balancers, DNS, service endpoints, ingress controllers, and connection timeouts.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Ability to read and understand code and diagnose technical issues.
  • Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers with installation, configuration, maintenance, and scaling of database and AI-based solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues by analyzing logs, identifying root causes, debugging problems, and collaborating with engineering teams when required.
  • Assist customers with database performance optimization, query improvements, data modeling, indexing, clustering, replication, backups, and system reliability.
  • Support deployments across Kubernetes environments including AKS, EKS, OpenShift, and related infrastructure components.
  • Configure and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking components, storage systems, authentication mechanisms, and integrations.
  • Provide guidance on AI technologies including LLMs, embeddings, vector search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI application workflows.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Deliver training and technical enablement sessions for internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Customer Success teams to improve solutions and customer experiences.
