Requirements
- Experience working with Node.js and Java programming languages.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of software architectures, including monolithic, layered, microservices, and serverless architectures.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, as well as non-relational databases.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines.
- Knowledge of application monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Ability to create reliable, well-tested code fixes and application enhancements.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and promote technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage incident response processes, investigate production issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain system availability.
- Analyze application monitoring data, metrics, and reports to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot complex application systems and perform root cause analysis for business-impacting issues.
- Apply DevOps practices and tools to deploy, maintain, and improve software systems efficiently.
- Support continuous delivery practices to enhance software quality and accelerate value delivery.
- Implement effective logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability practices to improve system performance.
- Follow engineering standards and best practices to increase operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate within agile teams using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Participate in rotation-based support activities, including 24x7 operational availability when required.
