Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience leading content marketing campaigns in a digital agency or tech-focused environment.
  • Experience managing SEO-focused content strategies supporting the customer journey.
  • Strong editorial skills including proofreading, self-editing, and AP style knowledge.
  • Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Shopify, or Django.
  • Proven ability to manage editorial calendars and multiple client deliverables simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, BuzzSumo, or BrightEdge.
  • Experience executing email marketing campaigns and content initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles with proven performance improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in independent and team-based environments.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to test strategies and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed content briefs, outlines, strategic recommendations, and source guidance.
  • Manage content calendars, editorial workflows, timelines, and production schedules for enterprise-level clients.
  • Edit and optimize long-form content, website copy, and blog materials for SEO and brand alignment.
  • Coordinate with remote writers, editors, and internal teams to ensure quality and deadlines.
  • Conduct competitor research, content gap analysis, and keyword opportunity assessments.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions, content ideation, and campaign planning.
  • Upload, format, and manage content within content management systems.
  • Analyze campaign performance using analytics platforms and SEO tools.
  • Collaborate with SEO, client services, and marketing teams to improve campaign outcomes.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
