Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related technical field.
  • 0–1 year of relevant experience in telecom, IT operations, or technical support environments.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux systems and command-line operations.
  • Intermediate SQL skills with familiarity working with databases such as Oracle.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems, MS Office applications, and IT support processes.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational support environment with rotating shifts.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications concepts such as GSM and mobile networks (advantageous).
  • Experience supporting applications or infrastructure as a Tier 1 or Tier 2 support engineer (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor infrastructure and applications using monitoring tools, alerts, and operational dashboards to identify potential issues.
  • Analyze and manage incidents reported through monitoring systems, ticketing platforms, or customer requests.
  • Provide first-level technical support by acknowledging, investigating, and resolving customer issues within defined processes.
  • Respond to customer requests through ticketing systems and email while maintaining clear and professional communication.
  • Escalate technical incidents, alarms, and unresolved issues to appropriate support teams for further investigation.
  • Generate operational reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding incidents, system status, and resolutions.
  • Follow established support procedures to ensure consistent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain system availability and improve operational efficiency.
