Requirements
- Proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar software.
- Strong editing instincts and visual judgment for pacing and composition.
- Ability to produce clean, well-paced, platform-native short-form video content.
- Proven experience creating authentic, high-performing photo or video content.
- Self-directed work style with the ability to manage tasks without close oversight.
- Reliability in meeting consistent deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for status updates.
- Comfort and ability to iterate work based on feedback.
- Interest in social justice storytelling and the Chuffed.org mission.
- Portfolio required with application including at least 2 examples of past work.
Responsibilities
- Produce short-form vertical reels including sourcing footage, pacing, adding captions, sound, and effects.
- Record voiceovers for video content.
- Design high-quality carousel posts for social media feeds.
- Produce a consistent output of 3 pieces of content per week on time.
- Work independently to translate briefs and raw material into polished, high-performing content.
- Check own work for quality and brand fit before final hand-off.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and fast-turnaround requests for urgent campaigns.
