Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Quality Engineering experience.
- 3+ years testing web applications, APIs, backend services, middleware, integrations, and data-driven workflows.
- 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
- Strong technical proficiency with Playwright and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Practical, recurring experience using AI-assisted engineering tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to explain how to review, validate, and correct AI-generated output.
- Experience with Node.js tooling such as npm or yarn.
- Experience testing and automating APIs using tools like Postman, Bruno, or REST Assured.
- Working knowledge of SQL, JSON payloads, and API contracts.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Chrome DevTools, BrowserStack, and observability tools like Datadog or Kibana.
Responsibilities
- Validate web applications, APIs, middleware workflows, data flows, permissions, integrations, and AWS-backed services.
- Determine appropriate automation coverage and assess release risk using logs, APIs, databases, and cloud evidence.
- Partner with developers and product managers to build automated quality into every stage of delivery.
- Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to improve quality and validate AI-generated output.
- Investigate defects across browser behavior, APIs, backend logs, databases, and third-party integrations.
