Requirements
- 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
- Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent field
- CPA certification
- Recent audit experience
- Experience in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment
- Experience with NetSuite
- Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Hex, and/or Metabase (bonus)
- Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity
- Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions
Responsibilities
- Prepare and book journal entries to ensure the appropriate revenue, cost and AR treatments
- Complete ASC 606 analyses for new revenue streams
- Assist with monthly accounting close including analyzing fluctuations and providing meaningful financial reporting
- Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate such principles to peers and business partners
- Analyze current procedures and make recommendations to develop and drive process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability
- Operate with minimum supervision
- Support the external audit process and create improvements for any inefficiencies identified
- Assist in implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Perform internal reporting and special projects on request
