Requirements
- Master's degree in CS or Electronics Engineering with 10+ years of experience in information technology, or 20+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Deep experience supporting all RMF steps, security categorizations, and FISMA documentation.
- Experience with NIST SP 800-53 security controls and system authorization processes.
- Ability to analyze authorization documents against requirements to identify and address security gaps.
- Experience creating plans for executing secure product installations.
- Ability to independently lead client-facing meetings and present complex information.
- Strong organizational skills to manage large amounts of discrete data across multiple systems.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and drive the completion of RMF steps 0-6 ATO activities and requirements with system stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate security risks and escalate project risks to leadership.
- Maintain operational security posture throughout the system lifecycle from acquisition to decommissioning.
- Complete and maintain detailed security documentation for various IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
- Translate security concepts into actionable solution recommendations for client decision-making.
- Lead client-facing meetings and present complex ATO topics.
