Requirements
- Track record of deploying advanced Machine Learning models in a fast-moving tech company.
- Extensive experience writing production Python code.
- Strong command of SQL.
- Experience developing and shipping deep learning, graph-based, or sequence-based ML architectures to production.
- Ability to own the end-to-end journey from business problem to measurable production impact.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working on ambiguous problems and helping stakeholders resolve ambiguity.
- Product mindset that prioritises customer outcomes and data-informed decisions.
- Willingness to learn Go for backend microservices.
- Passion for sharing knowledge and raising the technical bar of the team.
Responsibilities
- Leverage deep experience to develop and deploy advanced Machine Learning models.
- Automatically and accurately detect suspicious user behaviours while minimising impact to genuine customers and operational costs.
- Adapt detection systems to changing fraud and financial crime trends to ensure ongoing performance.
- Design machine learning solutions that scale globally.
- Justify and demonstrate the effectiveness of technical approaches to ensure they meet business and customer needs.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary squad including engineers, data scientists, and risk managers.
