Requirements
- Appropriate current certification in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CISSP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a training setting, ideally delivering IT certification bootcamps.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with learning technologies such as Canvas.
- Advanced subject matter expertise preferred.
- Prior experience in curriculum development and instructional design preferred.
- Synchronous online teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to multitask and solve problems rapidly.
Responsibilities
- Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams including evenings and weekends.
- Plan and organize instruction to maximize student engagement and learning.
- Maintain active subject-matter certifications through renewal and professional development.
- Design, update, and align course materials with college and accreditation standards.
- Manage student attendance, grading, and performance data in the student database.
- Promote collaboration with staff and participate in institutional projects.
