Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Active, current certification in the subject being taught
- At least three years of experience in the field or two years of teaching experience
- Proficiency in Python programming and data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn)
- Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, gen AI concepts)
- Familiarity with Azure AI, AWS, or Google Cloud AI platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Teams for synchronous instruction
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canvas learning technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams
- Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning and engagement
- Modify instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Employ teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter via synchronous online format
- Ensure student database records and grade information are fully updated and accurate
- Maintain compliance with accreditation requirements, class hours, and college policies
