Requirements
- Licensed CPA or actively working toward CPA certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of public accounting experience across industries such as technology, life sciences, consumer products, financial services, or nonprofit organizations.
- Experience auditing complex accounts, including revenue, inventory, equity, and stock options.
- Previous experience supervising, leading, and developing audit teams.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience managing complex engagements involving multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate information, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Ability to synthesize research and technical findings into clear, practical deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple audit engagements, resolving complex legal, regulatory, accounting, and compliance matters throughout the audit lifecycle.
- Develop engagement strategies, business plans, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and workload assignments.
- Manage client relationships by understanding business needs and providing trusted advisory support.
- Apply advanced knowledge of accounting principles and auditing procedures to address client challenges.
- Research and interpret accounting standards, including U.S. GAAP requirements.
- Lead engagements involving complex financial reporting, tax considerations, and international business practices.
- Mentor, coach, and develop audit professionals through feedback and training.
- Support proposal development and contribute to business development initiatives.
