Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within civil engineering, infrastructure, energy, environmental, or industrial projects.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred, with multi-state licensure or reciprocity considered an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design practices, permitting processes, and project delivery methods.
  • Experience managing engineering projects, budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables.
  • Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams while fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes, risk management principles, and sustainable engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support civil engineering project activities, including site grading, drainage design, access road design, erosion and sediment control planning, stormwater management, reporting, and permitting.
  • Manage technical tasks by overseeing project scope, schedules, budgets, quality reviews, and deliverable development.
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and support to engineers, designers, and technical staff.
  • Prepare and contribute to proposals, including scope development, budget preparation, and coordination with multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Review and oversee engineering calculations, drawings, reports, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Perform field assessments, site visits, construction phase services, bid support, and technical reviews.
  • Support quality assurance and peer review processes while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Manage client relationships through technical guidance and proactive problem-solving.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement solutions.
