Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or general management.
- At least 8 years in a senior executive seat (COO, VP/SVP of Operations, GM, or similar).
- Proven record of building operating systems, KPIs, and process cadence from the ground up.
- Direct logistics or distribution experience with heavy industrial or renewable energy products (transformers, batteries, trackers, modules).
- Hands-on leadership experience in implementing WMS, TMS, ERP, and CRM projects from decision to go-live.
- Experience running a multi-site or contracted 3PL network at scale.
- Capacity to partner with a CEO and Board-level stakeholders.
- Comfort and experience scaling a founder-led or growth-stage business.
- Familiarity with structured operating models like EOS or Traction (nice to have).
- Experience with NetSuite (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Oversee full operations function including warehousing, freight, inventory, and fulfillment across a national network of 3PL and warehouse partners.
- Define and implement company KPIs, operating rhythm, dashboards, and accountability frameworks.
- Structure team roles and responsibilities to support growth and stability.
- Build sales and BD infrastructure, including forecasting, CRM, deal desk, and pricing discipline.
- Direct strategy and rollout for the operational technology stack, including WMS, TMS, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Manage compliance and commercial legal oversight for DOT hazmat and oversized-load logistics.
- Coach operations leadership and act as a strategic partner to the CEO, Board, and executive peers.
