Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience required; 7+ years preferred.
- Strong full-stack skills: Web UX/UI, REST APIs, backend, DB modeling, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
- Fluency in Node.js with TypeScript and React.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including networking, security, and load balancing.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and Docker containerization.
- Linux/MacOS command-line and Bash scripting proficiency.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and message patterns (RabbitMQ).
- Expertise in automated testing and unit testing frameworks (Chai, Mocha).
- Familiarity with logging, observability, and event pipelines.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field experience.
- Demonstrable GitHub OSS repository.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship production-grade systems end-to-end including frontend, backend, infrastructure, and operational glue.
- Own technical decisions on architecture, cloud topology, observability, deployment, and security for led projects.
- Write secure, resilient, well-tested code and perform code reviews.
- Debug production incidents, performance regressions, concurrency bugs, and distributed systems issues.
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept to validate ideas and de-risk technical decisions.
- Mentor teammates and serve as a technical resource for complex problems.
- Research new technologies and tools to refine team processes and engineering practices.
- Provide effort estimates and technical scope for new opportunities and present options to client stakeholders.
