Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences, protein science, molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field (PhD or MS preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, commercial strategy, technical sales, or business leadership in life science tools, CRO/CDMO services, antibody discovery, or biologics research services.
- Strong understanding of antibody expression and production workflows, including mammalian expression, transient expression, purification, and characterization.
- Familiarity with advanced antibody and protein formats, including bispecific antibodies, antibody fragments, VHHs, and Fc-fusion proteins.
- Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into clear product positioning, service offerings, pricing logic, and commercial strategies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to influence R&D, production, commercial, and regional teams in a matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for foundational antibody expression and protein solutions.
- Define portfolio structure, service tiers, value propositions, pricing logic, and differentiation strategy.
- Drive growth of core antibody expression services through service packaging, workflow bundling, customer segmentation, and regional go-to-market plans.
- Translate customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics into product requirements and improvement priorities.
- Partner with R&D and production teams to improve service quality, turnaround time, scalability, yield, purity, and customer experience.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to develop positioning, campaigns, sales training, proposal templates, and competitive battlecards.
- Support strategic customer opportunities, especially large or complex antibody expression and protein production projects.
- Track business performance across revenue, margin, order volume, win/loss, customer segment, region, and service type.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across product, R&D, production, sales, marketing, project management, and technical support.
