Requirements
- 4+ years of experience architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-based AI/ML production workloads.
- Proven track record designing and operating large, distributed systems on AWS.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS services relevant to AI/ML and GenAI.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock for deploying foundation models.
- Experience fine-tuning and deploying LLMs and multimodal AI using Amazon SageMaker.
- Strong prompt engineering skills and familiarity with rigorous model evaluation.
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon SageMaker components (Pipelines, Model Monitor, Clarify).
- Proficiency integrating TensorFlow or PyTorch with AWS for model development.
- Experience with distributed training and performance optimization for inference.
- Strong data-engineering skills (Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD for AI/ML and AI governance/security patterns.
- Ability to mentor peers and communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of production-grade ML and Generative AI solutions on AWS.
- Serve as a hands-on expert and trusted advisor for customers running AI/ML workloads at scale.
- Translate complex business problems into cloud architectures that are secure, reliable, cost-efficient, and observable.
- Convert one-off customer solutions into reusable 'Gravel Roads' such as playbooks and Terraform modules.
- Provide structured product feedback to internal DoiT engineering teams to drive roadmap improvements.
- Operate as an embedded technical partner within account teams to drive technical adoption and optimization.
- Contribute to internal enablement by documenting learnings and training fellow FDEs.
