Requirements
- Hands-on experience managing Azure cloud delivery projects or cloud transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Portal, governance structures, subscription management, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools, cloud operations, and security concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud fundamentals, networking principles, identity management, and security practices.
- Experience managing technical projects involving infrastructure, migration, modernization, or operational readiness.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, SmartSheet, Clarizen, SAP Fiori, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a continuous learning mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle for Azure cloud delivery engagements, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, delivery roadmaps, RAID logs, and communication strategies.
- Manage Azure-focused workstreams, including infrastructure services, platform services, identity, networking, governance, security, and modernization initiatives.
- Coordinate collaboration between cloud architects, engineers, delivery teams, and client stakeholders.
- Facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment across teams regarding project goals, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Support cloud adoption initiatives by helping clients transition to scalable and secure Azure environments.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular project updates and reporting.
- Promote best practices in cloud project delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
