Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, Security Engineer, or similar role.
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong development fundamentals.
- Strong programming experience with one or more languages such as JavaScript/Node.js, TypeScript, Go, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and containerization technologies.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar platforms.
- Experience with monitoring and observability solutions, including metrics, logging, and tracing platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including load balancers, routing, ingress controllers, and web application firewalls.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience building secure, highly available infrastructure.
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills in remote-first environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, upgrade, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure across multiple products and environments.
- Drive improvements across CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and engineering productivity practices.
- Develop and maintain highly available, resilient systems with strong security controls, disaster recovery strategies, and no single points of failure.
- Collaborate with software engineers, SRE teams, product managers, and infrastructure specialists to solve complex technical challenges.
- Support and improve development, testing, staging, and production environments across cloud providers.
- Implement infrastructure automation using modern DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration.
- Improve operational performance through monitoring, observability, reliability metrics, and DORA-focused initiatives.
- Establish secure access patterns, cybersecurity practices, and compliance-focused infrastructure standards.
