Requirements
- 5+ years in software test automation in an SDET or Automation Engineer capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Playwright (TypeScript) including POM, fixtures, and parallel execution.
- Solid experience in Python/pytest including fixtures, conftest, and parametrize.
- Proven track record in REST API testing and GraphQL testing.
- Experience with Jenkins for pipeline configuration and stage/step structure.
- Experience with WireMock for stub authoring and request matchers.
- Proficiency with Git, branching, and PR workflows.
- Demonstrated experience actively using AI coding tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Strong preference for experience with SOAP/WSDL and Postman/Newman.
- Familiarity with microservices environments and service boundaries.
- Background in Java/Selenium is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Implement end-to-end Playwright (TypeScript) test suites for assigned user journeys.
- Expand Python/pytest API test coverage across service domains including REST and GraphQL.
- Integrate new tests into existing Jenkins pipelines with correct tier tagging.
- Write and maintain WireMock stubs to support new test scenarios.
- Participate in PR reviews and adhere to automation standards.
- Document new patterns or deviations for handoff to the permanent team.
- Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate test scaffolding, fixture generation, and stub authoring.
- Embed within an agile squad and participate in daily ceremonies.
