Requirements
- Deep production experience building and operating fullstack applications.
- Hands-on fullstack proficiency with Go, Ruby, and Node.
- Experience with data platforms such as ClickHouse or comparable OLAP systems.
- Experience with data modeling and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered product features.
- Experience operating multi-tenant applications in SaaS and self-managed environments.
- Experience building third-party or API integrations.
- Ability to decompose complex initiatives into shippable milestones.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to align stakeholders in an async-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop well-scoped features for data ingestion, modeling, and syncing into the knowledge graph.
- Build integrations with external systems including Jira, observability tools, Zendesk, and ServiceNow.
- Develop Software Engineering Intelligence dashboard features, including DORA, value stream reporting, and GitLab Duo metrics.
- Contribute to design and technical direction for features with guidance from senior staff.
- Participate in design and code reviews to improve code quality, maintainability, and delivery velocity.
- Build a deep understanding of the system, data model, and platform to independently ship changes and resolve issues.
