Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, build/release engineering, or related roles.
- Strong programming experience with Golang and/or Python, with knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, including services like EC2, EKS, or ECS.
- Deep understanding of Git workflows, including branching, merging, and version control best practices.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.
- Experience building automation using Terraform and Unix shell scripting.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Puppet.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, dashboards, and centralized logging solutions such as Grafana, SignalFX, or similar tools.
- Understanding of application security best practices and secure software delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines used across multiple products and services.
- Build automation solutions using Golang, Python, Terraform, and Unix scripting to streamline engineering processes.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Docker, and modern infrastructure practices.
- Support the onboarding of applications, services, and components into automated build, deployment, and monitoring workflows.
- Improve platform reliability by focusing on availability, performance, scalability, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review code, define integrations, and implement technical improvements.
- Contribute to observability initiatives by maintaining monitoring, logging, and reporting solutions.
- Support security best practices across development, deployment, and operational processes.
- Participate in production support activities, including on-call rotations for urgent incidents when required.
