Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Test Automation as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
- Strong expertise developing end-to-end UI automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with Python and pytest for API automation.
- Hands-on experience testing REST APIs, including request validation and chained requests.
- Experience testing GraphQL APIs, including queries, mutations, and schema validation.
- Working knowledge of SOAP API testing.
- Experience integrating automation into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with WireMock or similar service virtualization tools.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance end-to-end UI automation using Playwright and TypeScript following Page Object Model (POM) patterns.
- Develop and maintain API automation using Python and pytest, covering REST, GraphQL, and SOAP validation.
- Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and configure smoke, sanity, and regression execution.
- Design and maintain WireMock stubs for microservice simulation and contract testing.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor for test generation, fixture creation, and code review.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams in Agile ceremonies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
