Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Information Technology experience.
- Proficiency with FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus/Security Center or WebInspect.
- Familiarity with Splunk for executing queries and data analysis.
- Understanding of cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Azure.
- Professional industry certification, such as ISC2 CISSP or ISACA CISM.
- Ability to interpret and assess network diagrams and data flow.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex technical information to various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Configure, execute, and analyze vulnerability scans.
- Interpret and assess network diagrams and drawings using Visio.
- Identify and assess cloud system state, including vulnerabilities, RMF status, and PPS compliance.
- Document information system specifications and security controls, including logical and physical diagrams.
- Develop security documentation input for technical control implementations.
- Maintain and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM) and other continuous monitoring deliverables.
- Prepare operations and build teams for FedRAMP/FISMA authorizations through training and mock interviews.
