Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, specifically in call-center environments with performance metrics.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to remain calm and positive while de-escalating upset customers over the phone.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently manage all aspects of the role in a remote environment.
- Experience in distribution companies is preferred.
- Emergency Medical or hospital-related experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and process orders through multiple channels while ensuring transaction accuracy.
- Send order confirmations via email and provide customers with status updates.
- Review orders for accuracy, make adjustments, and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Route special orders and provide pricing information upon request.
- Work with internal departments to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Research and resolve billing and pricing concerns.
- Determine or authorize credits, rebills, and product returns to ensure same-day shipping.
- Perform administrative tasks and filing as needed.
