Requirements
- 5 years of experience with a strong mechanical background repairing and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric powered equipment.
- Experience with rivet assembly tooling is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality practices including APQP, control of returned goods, and root cause analysis.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of inspection and measuring equipment techniques.
- Experience in joint development and validation.
- 3D CAD background and modeling experience (Solidworks) preferred.
- Experience in cold head (rivets) manufacturing processes preferred.
- Ability to travel for approximately 65% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the expert for POP & Avdel fasteners and assembly tools in the North American Industrial and Automotive market.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and commercial assistance to customers and internal teams.
- Perform on-site technical support for training, service calls, and tooling sales calls.
- Manage the Authorized Service Center Network for warranty returns, repairs, and documentation of failure modes.
- Create training materials and conduct maintenance training for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support quality and operations teams with rivet product verification and root cause analysis.
