Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Terraform or OpenTofu and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services including VPC, IAM, ECS, and CloudFront.
- Experience developing automation scripts and tools using Go and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration, GitHub Actions, and Docker/Kubernetes.
- Understanding of zero-trust architecture and secure software supply chains.
- Knowledge of cloud observability and security tools such as Datadog and Wiz.
- Ability to work autonomously as a manager-of-one.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop self-service APIs and internal tooling to automate security and infrastructure processes.
- Design and operate secure, reliable AWS infrastructure for engineering teams.
- Implement defense-in-depth and zero-trust security controls across network, compute, and data tiers.
- Enforce security standards and hardening baselines for SDLC and platform operations.
- Manage end-to-end incident response, from detection to resolution and post-mortems.
- Address platform vulnerabilities and maintain security features like WAF rules and SIEM monitors.
- Continuously review security tooling and architecture to address new threats.
