Requirements
- Professional experience in international student and scholar services (ISSS), employment-based immigration, or global mobility.
- Experience working in university international offices or immigration case management.
- Practical knowledge of student visas (e.g., F-1, J-1) and employment visas (e.g., H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3).
- Strong attention to detail with ability to analyze complex workflows.
- Experience documenting processes or procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with immigration or international education software platforms (e.g., Sunapsis, Terra Dotta ISSS) is preferred.
- Interest in product development, software quality, and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of product features and workflows.
- Conduct full validation to ensure product functionality aligns with real-world immigration and international services processes.
- Re-test or double-test issues across the full workflow.
- Identify, reproduce, and document defects with clear bug reports.
- Validate fixes and verify resolution of reported issues.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new and existing functionality.
- Document test execution and results in platforms such as TestRail.
- Create and maintain release notes, QA documentation, and internal testing guides.
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure user stories reflect domain workflows and regulatory requirements.
