Requirements
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in mortgage/loan servicing.
- Two or more years of experience with quality data analysis, testing, and reporting.
- Knowledge of mortgage industry terminology, including general servicing and default timelines.
- Knowledge of utilizing Loan Servicing technology to research, validate, and obtain information.
- Proficient in MS Office with basic skills in Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information.
Responsibilities
- Complete a thorough assessment of document provisioning and/or remediation plans and identify items requiring clarification.
- Evaluate process remediations from business units to ensure compliance.
- Create and maintain documentation of processes, reports, and applications.
- Conduct testing for low/medium risk findings to ensure successful remediation and implementation.
- Identify exceptions based on testing and notify department management of observations.
- Perform loan data analysis to validate and communicate test results to servicing business units.
- Research internal or external findings and propose responses to business units.
- Track all assignments in SharePoint and maintain appropriate data integrity.
- Escalate issues of risk concern to management.
