Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in mortgage/loan servicing.
  • Two or more years of experience with quality data analysis, testing, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of mortgage industry terminology, including general servicing and default timelines.
  • Knowledge of utilizing Loan Servicing technology to research, validate, and obtain information.
  • Proficient in MS Office with basic skills in Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a thorough assessment of document provisioning and/or remediation plans and identify items requiring clarification.
  • Evaluate process remediations from business units to ensure compliance.
  • Create and maintain documentation of processes, reports, and applications.
  • Conduct testing for low/medium risk findings to ensure successful remediation and implementation.
  • Identify exceptions based on testing and notify department management of observations.
  • Perform loan data analysis to validate and communicate test results to servicing business units.
  • Research internal or external findings and propose responses to business units.
  • Track all assignments in SharePoint and maintain appropriate data integrity.
  • Escalate issues of risk concern to management.
