Requirements

- Located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical/decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working understanding of computer systems such as email and data entry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products.
- Proficient keyboarding skills.
- Insurance product knowledge and experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Determine claim benefits payable accurately and timely based on medical information and contract language.
- Ensure information conforms to established policies, procedures, and corporate guidelines for file integrity and reporting.
- Communicate with external and internal customers to obtain claim information and explain claim handling processes.
- Provide customer service via inbound/outbound phone calls and written correspondence.
- Perform service recovery techniques to resolve requests and maintain production, quality, and time service standards.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret information to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
