Experience: 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience

Requirements

Active Nurse Practitioner license in Prince Edward Island (PEI).
Current PEI billing number for ordering laboratory testing.
Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
Member in good standing of the provincial College of Nurses.
Physical residency in Prince Edward Island.
Experience with telemedicine platforms.
Proficiency with technology and EMR systems.
Commitment to a minimum of 4 hours of scheduled time per week.
Ability to log in every 24-48 hours to manage patient care.
Willingness to obtain licensure in additional provinces.
Knowledge of PHIPA privacy regulations.
Experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, ED, or birth control care is an asset.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality online care across various health categories like weight loss, birth control, and mental health.
Order laboratory testing for patients as needed.
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with PHIPA privacy regulations.
Engage with the digital platform by providing at least 4 hours of scheduled time weekly.
Log into the HCP portal every 24-48 hours to manage and address patient needs.
Collaborate with a community of healthcare professionals to share knowledge and best practices.
