Requirements
- Expertise in cloud service provider implementation and configuration, preferably Azure for SaaS products.
- Experience with microservices architecture, particularly Java-based services.
- Experience applying chaos engineering to enhance system resiliency.
- Skilled in troubleshooting performance issues and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with performance testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with observability tools like Prometheus and the Grafana suite.
- Proven experience executing load, stress, soak, and spike testing to validate throughput.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Azure Load Testing.
- Experience tuning autoscaling (Kubernetes/OpenShift HPA, Azure scale sets) and messaging components like Kafka.
- Experience with Azure-native monitoring (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
- Knowledge of security and compliance best practices (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO27001).
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Experience operating and maintaining Linux production systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Security Operations to define and implement cloud configuration best practices for Azure.
- Develop a multi-tenant approach for databases, containers, authentication, and registries.
- Design and maintain cloud-based performance testing strategies and environments.
- Develop processes for tracking cloud cost and utilization.
- Create documentation for cloud service offerings and best practices.
- Implement and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure for cloud application delivery.
- Monitor system KPIs and ensure SLA compliance.
- Build tools for deployment automation and operations.
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident management and troubleshooting.
- Manage observability tools for performance insights.
