Requirements
- 8+ years in solution architecture, data architecture, or pre-sales.
- Minimum 4 years experience designing enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions.
- Hands-on expertise in at least two of: Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Deep expertise in designing enterprise solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven design experience with batch and streaming pipelines (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, Flink).
- Working knowledge of lakehouse and data mesh principles, open table formats (Delta, Iceberg, Hudi).
- Practical experience designing AI/ML and GenAI data foundations (feature stores, vector databases, RAG pipelines, MLOps).
- Strong experience with RFP/RFI responses and delivering technical presentations.
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to executive and technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for client workshops and discovery sessions.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery focused on data estates, source systems, latency, quality requirements, and AI readiness.
- Produce reference architectures for modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or Microsoft Fabric).
- Design feature stores, vector stores, and retrieval pipelines to support production GenAI and predictive use cases.
- Scope and deliver high-signal proofs-of-concept for data migration, real-time pipelines, and analytics solutions.
- Own the technical narrative for RFx responses, SOWs, and proposals, including risk framing and program sequencing.
- Present at executive briefings and solution workshops to CDOs, VPs of Data, and engineering teams.
- Embed data governance, lineage, and privacy standards into architectural designs.
- Provide technical leadership across pre-sales and data practices.
