Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Strong experience with data modeling and data warehouse architecture.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses.
- Ability to validate solutions from a business perspective beyond technical requirements.
- Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Experience preparing data requirements for AI or machine learning applications.
- Advanced or fluent English skills (reading, writing, and conversation).
- Experience with dbt is a plus.
- Familiarity with Airbyte or Airflow is desirable.
- Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD for data is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into technical specifications.
- Own the complete lifecycle of data products, including ingestion, modeling, transformation, validation, and monitoring.
- Design and implement scalable data transformation layers to prepare datasets for analytics and AI.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python.
- Implement data quality processes, automated testing, and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with AI teams to optimize data structures for machine learning and generative AI.
- Document data models and architecture to ensure scalability and knowledge sharing.
