Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in security, including direct management of managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Track record of building or significantly scaling an information security program.
- Hands-on depth in several domains: product and application security, cloud security (AWS preferred), AI security, security operations, incident response, and GRC.
- Experience leading or partnering with internal IT operations and endpoint management for a remote workforce.
- Fluency with security/risk frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0 and NIST AI RMF.
- Proven ability to identify, quantify, and articulate security risk and drive action plans to completion.
- Excellent executive presence and ability to translate complex security topics into business outcomes.
- Experience operating within a matrixed, parent-company, or shared-services security model is a plus.
- Experience securing consumer (B2C) platforms, particularly products serving minors, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the multi-year security and technology strategy, prioritization, and communication of security investments.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of security and technology operations professionals.
- Direct delivery for information security areas including product/application security, cloud security, AI security, security operations, and vulnerability management.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks across infrastructure, product, and corporate environments.
- Set direction for AI security and governance, including secure adoption of AI tooling and AI-enabled product feature security.
- Lead the governance, risk, and compliance program including NIST CSF 2.0 and NIST AI RMF assessments.
- Manage the security operations and incident response program, including detection and coordination with the parent company.
- Oversee internal technology operations and the support function for the remote-first workforce.
- Manage the BISO relationship and shared-services integration with the parent company's security organization.
