Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including month-end close responsibilities.
- Experience managing transactional accounting processes using platforms such as QuickBooks Online.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational finance processes.
- Experience with tools such as Bill.com, Expensify, or similar accounting technologies is highly preferred.
- QuickBooks Online certification or comparable accounting software expertise is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and advanced attention to detail.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
- Dedicated home workspace with reliable and secure high-speed internet access.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive accounting support to clients, including accounts payable and receivable management, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and payroll-related activities.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established accounting practices.
- Support clients throughout onboarding and ongoing engagement phases by understanding their business needs and implementing effective accounting processes.
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and proactive identification of opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with Accounting Managers, Controllers, Finance Managers, and colleagues to balance workloads, share knowledge, and improve operational efficiency.
