Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, economics, operations management, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in planning, finance, or supply chain analysis.
  • Clear understanding of financial measurements: sales, gross margin, return rate, months on hand, sell-through, and turn rate.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, logical functions like SUMIF and VLOOKUP).
  • Experience with planning software is required; Toolio is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and deliver results timely.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Must be dependable, organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive pre-season, item-level sales and inventory plans that align with historical performance, merchandising strategies, and financial targets.
  • Re-forecast item-level plans in-season and perform ad hoc analysis to identify inventory risks or opportunities.
  • Recap and analyze monthly actuals to plan and LY, presenting key takeaways and action plans to cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare and present category strategies in Open-to-Buy (OTB) meetings.
  • Partner with Product on line creation to ensure seasonal lines meet financial and KPI targets.
  • Build and execute style, color, and size purchasing for all channels.
  • Develop pricing and markdown strategies to maximize sales and margin while meeting sell-through targets.
  • Manage inventory availability across sales channels and coordinate with marketing and channel owners for optimization.
  • Maintain the SKU Master including new SKU creation and lifecycle management.
